Places that bring a smile

Today was the first time I took the Ralston avenue exit off 101, to visit the headquarters of my future employer. It felt surreal at the traffic light, looking at the huge cylidrical buildings from close up. There are some places that you like instantly the first time you see them, and every time afterward. Places where you feel exhiliarated, no matter what's on your mind. Something about such a place will always stay in your memory, bringing a smile whenever you think about it ... Today's visit is special in that way.

This location adds to my all time favorite places on earth:
- Tirupati
- Infosys campus, Bangalore
- The Golden gate
- Pebble beach
- Hong Kong airport, from where you can see the water, boats, huge mountains and skyscrapers side by side....
- The coconut groove behind my grandpa's, from where you can see the Tunga river flowing by.
- And now, Oracle HQ!
