Back (from ?) home.

It was a nice long trip home, and I am now home again. It is weird, both places seem like home. 35 days is a longish vacation.

- America seems cleaner, larger, with wider roads and lesser traffic than I remember.
- I didn't feel as empty as I expected I would. I am missing the and crowd of home and Bangalore, but the quiet here is not so bad. Yet.
- Driving the automatic is so simple, it is almost boring. I barely braked on my way to work today, driving was that smooth. It is time to get a new manual car, I guess. I loved driving in Bangalore, it was so stimulating. I even had my share of getting cut off by yellow plated Tata Indica, then follow him and cut him off on purpose to happy with self. The turning indicators are on different sides of the wheel, which by far was the only problem I faced. That, and looking back while reversing. I am still not so happy looking back over the left shoulder, maybe my neck is built that way.
- Working here, it seems you can accomplish so much in so little time, there are hardly any distractions.

On a more sombre note, I miss home, parents, Viji, my grandpa, the wonderful relatives, food in Bangalore and the life I could be leading. Bangalore was an overload of stimuli, but in a wonderful, familiar way. Everyone back home wants me to go back. Should I, I wonder.
