How many cards do you have ? While on my trip to India recently, I was sorting all the cards I had, and here is what I came up!
There are a few more missing from here, but you can see several credit cards, a couple of shopping cards (like costco and albertsons), drivers licences for India, Arizona and California, library membership card, med insurance cards and ASU student id card among others.

from the internet
and you being in software industry should know it is not very hard extracting information from jpeg images.
